Final Blog Post

          Our group project was over the techno-chip and it took the whole 4th quarter to plan and design our project.  We made our website and commercial as well as a sketch-up build of our packaging and a storefront mockup. We faced some challenge. Some of those are when one group member wouldn't listen to us and wanted to do her ideas. I learned that sometimes teammates might not have the same ideas or point of views. When I got feedback I tried to incorporate all ideas. I really liked this project because we got to chose what we wanted to do not an assignment. I used my time efficiently and tried to stay on task. I completed the sketch-up and a mockup of our product and our storefront. I stayed productive with deadlines to meet and also because we chose to all do our part. We filmed our commercial outside of school and we also worked on our script. Some of my strengths that I have come up with are that I work really well in teams and also alone. I enjoy most strands other than graphic design and web design. I can improve on making sure
deadlines are met and work is 100% done correctly. I loved workin with my team to make an icon which ended up turning out great. I made the final icon and i'm proud of it. If I were to change something I would change how I worked. I wish that if we did this project again I would want to work harder next time. An overall takeaway from this quarter would be that you should try to co-operate with your team even if you are disagreeing. One goal for next year would be to try your best and go hard every second of the day.

Colors by Blake Woolery

The color I chose to best represent myself was blue because it is a calm color and I am calm. I chose brown for my least favorite because it is a dull and gross color to me. I don't like the color brown because it is difficult to put other colors with it. Blue works well with most colors.

When we organized the 8 colors the order I chose was blue, red, green, grey, black, yellow, purple, brown. The reason the first two are red and blue is because both of those work well together and they can work with other colors too. If i were to change my favorite color from blue I wold change it to red or green. Red has power and physiologically and chemically changes people brains into doing things just from looking at it. green to me is like the outdoors which is something I like a lot.

Handwriting & Typography

         When I was hand writing my name I found that it was easy to take it slow and make sure all the details came out. I liked being able to use the light table to outline my text. I used the font AHJ Alden Hand which had many tails to the letters. I chose that font because it wasn't professional and sometimes I am not professional.

            The ten words I used were Artist, Leader, Videographer, Adventurous, Outgoing, Designer, Considerate, Hard Working, Adaptable, and Ambitious. I chose a smiling face because I am happy most of the time. My favorite color is blue so that is why I chose that color. The font i chose isn't too unprofessional but it has a fun style.
